Siemens Get Order For Energy Optimization In China

Siemens Industry received another major order from China. A large company in the field of industrial plant, Kingdom Holdings Limited, one of the world's largest linen yarn manufacturers, became the first customer for energy optimization. Services provided by Siemens comprises energy analyses, identification of energy-saving potential and implementation of energy-efficient measures in the factory in Haiyan (Zhejiang province) in the southeast of China. The company's investments are expected to pay for themselves within 27 months.

Under the contract, Siemens has begun to modernize the boiler room with a local partner. The purpose of this modernization is to reduce power consumption by 15 percent and coal by 12 percent. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the policy will be verified.
